Christmas is coming; 'God rest ye merry, gentlemen'

We have made another virtual recording. ‘God rest ye merry, gentlemen’.
On Sunday 20th December from 5pm there will be a live broadcast of carols from Facebook “Eden Wild Goose” (you do not need to be a Facebook user to view this). Some musicians from St Paul’s Holme Eden will sing carols by the Christmas tree. We will also be placing a few other items into this programme, including a pre-recorded carol from The Eden Wild Goose Community Choir

Traditional Irish Blessing

The words of the song are what we hope for each other in these strange and uncertain times.

Music score
‘May love and laughter light your days,
And warm your heart and home,
My good and faithful friends be yours,
Wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world,
With joy that long endures,
May all life’s passing seasons bring the best,
The best to you and yours.’

This was run by Eden Wild Goose Storytelling – another part of the EWG. The Socially Distanced Eden Wild Goose Community Choir performed three songs
