The parish of Holme Eden can be found just east of the city of Carlisle on the busy A69 trunk road to Newcastle. It comprises a number of individual communities situated in a predominantly rural area including Warwick Bridge, Corby Hill, Little Corby, Broadwath and Heads Nook. The church of St Paul built in 1845 serves all these communities and has supported a conservative evangelical ministry for a number of years. The worship is a mixture of traditional and informal with the music being led by both organ and music group.
