Welcome

The tiny fellside community of Croglin has sustained a Christian presence for over 800 years. The church registers go back to 1644 and there is a list of Rectors going back to 1293. Sadly, due to an ageing congregation and falling numbers the decision was taken in 2009 to set in motion the process to close the church. The church does however remain open for special services such as baptisms, weddings and funerals, along with services to mark all the major Christian festivals such as Christmas, Easter and Pentecost.
